I speak with Michelle Natalya Moore on how to design the future of work with increased wellbeing, innovation and effectiveness using the power of attention. Michelle is the founder of MindEQuity, where she is leading knowledge workers on a Focus Better Journey. Harnessing and protecting organizational attention is the foundation for a future of work that doesn't sacrifice wellbeing.
We speak about the seven mistakes that hinder sustained value creation, including task switching and favoring data analysis over body wisdom and instinct. An environment of digital overwhelm, increased work from home, and virtual meetings means people are high on busyness on the Merry Go Round of Distraction. Many are working on the brink of burnout. People unknowingly behave as though attention is not their most valuable asset. Michelle is on a mission to change that!
Michelle founded MindEQuity in 2014 after 20 years in Big 4 consulting. For a decade, she served as equity partner with PricewaterhoursCoopers and Ernst & Young. She has an MBA and is a PDMA Certified New Product Development Professional. In addition, Michelle is an advanced teacher of the MIT Presencing Institute’s Social Presencing, a set of body wisdom practices enabling teams to harness attention for insight and innovation. She is the author of a chapter in "Presencing Theory U, Book 3: Collective Perspectives on Presencing", University of Laval. Michelle is a speaker with MacKay CEO Forums, Horasis Global Meeting and Management Leadership Forum. She has been featured across a variety of online media, podcasts and has appeared on Voice of America Business Channel.
